May 1996 Matchbox Releases
O.K. guys after a small break I am back. Although I did not post
anywhere on the net nor did I update this list for the past few weeks, I
did keep up with my Matchbox hunting as usual. Now that I am finally done
with my finals here is the listing of my Matchbox discoveries for the month
of May 1996. Remember the description is my own and if you don't agree with
the description please let me know. I will keep updating (hopefully on time
now) this list as more models show up. In the mean time Happy Hunting to
all collectors.
Standard MB1-75 Models

69-D- .... Willy's Street Rod .... Black body, purple design tempo on sides
70-G- .... Pontiac GTO .... Orange body, black interior, "The Judge" tempo
(one of the best model among the current MB1-75 range)
76- ...... Dunes Racer .... White body, red base, dripping blood & bat tempo
78- ...... Ferrari Testarossa .... Lime body, black stripes & pink design tempo
Please note that the last two models have nothing exciting except that the blister card reads 76
& 78 respectively. MB-77 is also available, please check out my
April '96 listing.
Since these models are not part of the 1996 line (or are there 78 models in the
range this year?), TYCO released them with these numbers.

PS: Dot design wheels are basically spiral design wheels but the spirals are
so dim that one can only see two dots. On the other hand, on the Spiral design
wheels, spirals are so obvious that one can see the full line. Please note
that this is my personal observation, other collectors may not accept the
existence of Dot design wheels.

Harley Davidson Stunt Cycles (1:24 Scale ???)
All of the following Stunt Cycles come with a helmet that is attached to a
string. On pulling the helmet a motor runs the rear wheel and makes engine noise
Stunt Cycle 1 .... Red body, red helmet, black seat, white painted gas tank, "Sportster"
Stunt Cycle 2 .... Turquoise body, turquoise helmet, black seat, "Harley Davidson"
Stunt Cycle 3 .... Purple body, purple helmet, black seat, silver painted gas tank,

1996 Five Pack
A second version of
"CONCEPT CARS" five pack is now available. This five pack
contains 4 models form the original set but now include the 62-I "Street Streak"
in Orange and black as shown in the pocket catalog. The pack contains the
